Logistics - Pressure vessel

Just to share some of our experience in logistics....

Last week loaded 9 unit pressure vessel on flatracks containers for shipment to Jebel Ali. The cargoes not that huge or heavy but all of it is out of gauge (over height and over width for containers shipment).

Enjoy the operation stay up until 4am just to attend loading of the pressure vessel from supplier place and deliver to West Port, the next day at 10am already at West Port load the cargoes onto flatracks, lashing and secure the cargoes. Ship sail on Monday 2pm expected arriving Jebel Ali 24rd September.

Photos below showing the pressure vessel in the fabricator workshop in Port Klang

Received the acceptance to our quotation on Thursday nite, Friday loading start around 2.00pm at fabricator workshop using low loader.

Some of the cargoes are over height thus required the usage of multi axle trailler....cargo height 5.2m

Upon arrival of cargoes at West port, the pressure vessel is then loaded on to flatracks...
Lashed and secured for safety during transit to Jebel Ali...

Now, looking for suitable barge and tug for usage at PTP area....

There's lotsa nozzles on it. The first picture, the part being covered up with laminated plastics, that's the manhole, right?

What are they using that 9 pressure vessel for?
